The Ohio State Fair Art Show is held at the Ohio State fairgrounds. This judging is held once a year and the Heart of Ohio Tole sponsors this show. Listed below are the winners in the categories. John Rausch is a professional architect/fine artist. For Hoot, his artwork has been displayed at the charity event we hosted several years ago at the Franklin Park Conservatory. He currently has some of his artwork on display at the Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta OH.
Chris Haughey is the owner, along with her husband, John, of Cupboard Distributors in Urbana OH. Chris is a fine artist and decorative painter.
Sally Windle is a former art teacher for Lima Senior High School in Lima, OH. She is currently the director of ArtSpace Lima in Lima, OH.
Make It and Take It
We had close to forty kids sit and paint this project. It is a wooden domino that they painted red, white, and blue with stars. Then we added a pin back to it so they could wear it around. Jan Pohlman and Sue Roediger taught these classes.
